I always love a good J.Crew fall shopping session ... you just can't beat their fall deals. Today I have some super cute pieces that I would like to show you. These are some great items for early fall and the transition to fall when the weather cools down. For each piece, I designed a couple of ways to get some ideas on how you would like to wear them. I never like to buy clothes that I can't imagine in different ways.

Let's take a look at some great fall pieces ...

Size: I reduced one size to XS so it works as both a sweater and a cardigan.

Thoughts: This cardigan is so cute and frankly, much better in person than it is online. I love wearing it as both a cardigan and a sweater and who can really resist a striped sweater in fall?

Buy the look:

Size: I went small with my usual size and it's too big. An XS would be perfect, so I would recommend downsizing.

Thoughts: This sweater is so stunning. The fabric is beautiful in person and there is no wool so no itching! Again, I just can't say enough good things about this one that is so perfect for fall.

Size: This sweater is true to size. I am short in my usual size. For jeans, I'm usually between 26/27 and went into these at 27.

Thoughts: This olive sweater is so simple and classic. I was looking for a simple olive green sweater and this one definitely fits. I think it's great that it works well on its own and is also great for overlaying. It would be perfect under a blazer or jacket. I'm a little undecided for the jeans, I love the gentle distress and the length. The denim is a bit thick with little stretch, so they are not 100% comfortable.

Size: I went small with my usual size. I would say it's the size!

Thoughts: You know I had to throw a sweatshirt in my pocket! I've been a sucker lately, I can't stop This one is so cute with a loose hem and bubble sleeves. I also think it's great that the fabric isn't super thick, so it's not super hot and well draped.

Size: I followed the sizing guidelines and fell half a height.

Thoughts: I'm such a sucker for leopard housing. I have similar pairs of loafers and mules and couldn't resist these ballet flats. You are so classic and feminine. They seem to need a bit of break-in, they're a bit stiff. But not bad.
