I always love the switch to fall weather and fall clothing ... but this year it seems a little more special than usual. We still spend a lot of time at home, although the schedules have improved a bit and I am ready to click update in a few spots around my house these days as well. Autumn always feels like a new beginning and that is exactly what I yearn for now. I love working with neutrals in my home because it's easy to add a new rug, couple of new pillows or a wreath, and it's so easy to mix and match everything. This year I'm drawn to moody rust and earth tones as accents for my neutrals and of course everything has to look and feel as cozy as possible, like we do in cooler weather.

Today I've put together some fall items that caught my eye this season. I love this simple one striped carpets to freshen up an entryway or mud room, and they are great when the snow weather kicks hit.
