J.Crew Factory Try on Session


I have some fun J.Crew Factory finds today that I'd like to share with you! I am always impressed with the quality at Factory, and while the photos online are not the best (am I alone?) I am always pleasantly surprised with the quality when the items arrive. I think it's great that Factory has become its own brand, but it's also a great buddy for big sister J.Crew. I often see classic J.Crew pieces reinterpreted at lower prices, like coats and blazers OR items from previous seasons that have been re-released which is always fun.

Only found a few items today but I think you will enjoy them.


(about)black sweater jacket
Thoughts: This is a near-exact J.Crew Juliette Sweater Blazer and in my opinion a lot better money than the original. The fabric is just a tiny bit different and the cut is exactly the same. The only noticeable difference is that the Factory version's pocks are inside, while the J.Crew version's pockets are patch pockets. For the price, this is an incredible piece!
Size: Runs big, I reduced one size to XS.

Thoughts: I love this style. It's so simple and pulled together, but also very convenient. I have this pair in leopard from last year and they have gotten a lot of wear and tear. I love the black suede and have ordered it in taupe too.
Size: I'm always between 6.5 and 7 and my pair of leopards is a 7 and a little bit too big. So for the black pair I chose the 6.5 and they are definitely too small. The 7 works a lot better so I just order it in 7. I can't wait to wear it!

Thoughts: this is so cute for fall and I think this could be a reissue from J.Crew, maybe they wore it last year or the year before. Definitely a better price from Factory. The sweater is great quality and the pattern is so much fun.
Size: I went small with my usual size and I think I would prefer it a little more spacious, wish I got a size bigger. So it is true to size for a fitting feeling.

Thoughts: This is so cute and soft. The button detail is adorable. This goes great with jeans, leggings or even joggers for fall.
Size: I went small with my usual size. So it's true to size. You could opt for a roomier fit.
